You may remember back in August, myself and a few friends thought we would hold a Summer Market in our hometown of Colne, and raise money for our local hospice in the process.
Our aim was to bring back what was once a "market town" back in the old days. So we organised over 60 stalls to join the town's existing market traders - the biggest market in Colne since the 1970's! With a huge range of stalls, including wedding stationery, cakes and cupcakes, pies, crafts, greeting cards, soft toys, jewellery, e-cigarettes, candles, handcreams, bakery, Herbalife, artists, children's clothing, hats, dog walking service, bath bombs, retro sweets and sweet trees, art supplies, Yankee candles, Tax Assist providing childrens games, face painting and glitter tattoos, the Body Shop at home, upcycling, bouncy castle, butchers, massage therapy, Usbourne Books, Asian foods, Pendle Leisure Trust, slushy drinks, Motive's Cosmetics and more!
Here's a photo of Aneesa Neelam and myself, dropping off the pennies at Pendleside Hospice that we raised at the Colne Summer Market in August this year! Unfortunately Maria couldn't be with us on the day to drop off, but we all worked super hard to get Colne working together and raise money for our local hospice.
Summer Market 2015 anyone?!
