Well! We have been so busy recently! Where do we start? How about with this absolutely glorious weather we've been having! We hope you've all been able to get out and about this half term and enjoy making beautiful memories. British summertime is always special - it certainly seems to brighten up the collective mood and take us all out the doldrums!
Whilst the sun has had his hat on and you lot have all been keeping busy on beaches and with BBQs and paddling pools, Zoë and I have been busy too! Last weekend I celebrated my 29th birthday! I got some lovely gifts and cards and was lucky to spend some quality time with friends and family over the bank holiday weekend.
Unfortunately, my little boy has been a bit poorly this week so we've spent lots of time snuggled up on the sofa and taking long, luxurious naps to keep us well rested.
Zoë, meanwhile, has accepted not one but TWO freelance jobs, which means the shop will be closed for approximately eight weeks (Monday-Friday, the shop will be open Saturdays as usual and you can still contact us via Facebook or Email). Zoë is working hard on lots of projects for customers and keeping very busy, so if you have an event you require stationery for, get in touch quick as her diary for the next few months is rapidly filling up!
Zoë has also been helping her friend Tricia with her DIY wedding - the blushing bride tied the knot this weekend! Congratulations to Tricia and her partner Catalin! Speaking of brides, our next blog post due to land over the next few days, will be the June edition of our monthly Real Wedding feature!
Zoë received this beautiful thank you card from our first featured bride and groom, Lisa and Alex. You’re so welcome, guys! Keep your peepers peeled this week for our next Real Wedding blog post, we’re super excited to share this one...
Lots of love,
