Hello Beautiful!

Well, haven’t we been lucky this week with some beautiful sunshine. We really hope you’ve managed to get out and enjoy it as much as possible! Leo and I had fun with his big sister this week, going on a long trek at Yorkshire Sculpture Park, been out Pokemon hunting, and had picnics at the park too! We’ve been very busy, and so has Zoë at the new shop at Craven Court.

A few people have popped in this week for some consultations, an opted for a few different samples, which is always exciting! And Zoë had a last minute order of service to complete for a lovely customer, Zoë is glad to have been able to assist on such a short deadline! And the shop is now FULLY STOCKED! We had a few issues and delays with some of our special items arriving, which meant we were looking quite sparse in the shop, now it’s full to the brim and we’ve had to rearrange a little in order to display it all! We do hope you will pop in and check it all out, we have some gorgeous stuff.

The most EXCITING NEWS this week is Leo’s gorgeous birthday guest book that Zoë has designed and framed for us. Fingerprint guest books are all the rage for weddings, Christenings and birthdays, and I wanted something really special to commemorate Leo’s first birthday.

As you can see from the image, Zoë has created a beautiful lion portrait, and based on the brief I gave her, there’s loads of space around the lion’s head for people to pop their finger or thumb prints in orange and yellow inks to create a beautiful lion’s mane. All the special people in Leo’s life can make their mark, and Leo can keep this beautiful artwork as a keepsake. I am so excited to see the gorgeous lion’s mane, made with all the finger prints of his loved ones. This year has gone so fast, everyone tells you it goes so quick but you really have no idea until you’re doing it!

If you’re looking for a unique and special way to commemorate a birthday, anniversary, wedding or any other occasion, or even just to create something beautiful and unique for a family member, finger print art work is a great way to do it. You can even use a fine nib pen to write the names of each person on/next to their prints if you wish! Or these names can be incorporated into the design, and you can then ask your loved ones to pop their print next to their names! So fun! I can’t wait for the family to see it and make their mark.

We will have our August Featured Bride Wedding of the Month blog available in the next few days! Another beautiful wedding that we can’t wait to share with you.

Lots of love,
