Hello beautiful,
We are really thrilled to present this month’s Feature Bride Wedding of the Month!
Sabrina Coulton and Andy Coulton were married on 2nd of April 2016 at the Stables Country Club with a pastel colour theme, perfectly matched with the spring season and location of their gorgeous wedding. We asked Sabrina to share details of her big day...
How did you meet?
"Andy and I met through a friend on a night out."
How did he propose? Or did you take the plunge?
"Andy proposed on Christmas morning, he even got down on one knee!"
Tell us about planning your wedding…
"Our wedding was the most amazing day of our lives. It rained in the morning but it did brighten up after the ceremony so we were able to have photos taken outside, which is what we had hoped for. All our family and friends were there to celebrate it with us, and we just felt so lucky and honoured to spend our special day with everyone we love."
What were you most excited about?
"I was most excited about wearing my dress! I'd waited 12 months to wear it and I couldn't wait to put it on! I was also so excited about marrying my best friend." (Aww! LMSB)
Did you trust your other half with any of the planning?
"Yes I did, he was actually brilliant!"
What was your theme?
"Our theme was pastel colours as it was a spring wedding."
How did Zoe incorporate this theme in to your stationery?
"Zoe kept the same design theme all the way through with all our stationery. We had bunting in pastel colours and the card was pastel yellow."
What was your experience with Zoe like, as a designer?
"Zoe was amazing from start to finish. Nothing was ever too much trouble, nothing was ever a problem. I could message her any time if I had any questions. I would hear back straight away."
How did you feel when you saw the finished designs?
"I was absolutely made up with everything Zoe designed for us!"
How many bridesmaids and pageboys did you have?
"I had five bridesmaids, two flower girls, and two page boys."
Tell us about the big day itself…
"Even on the morning of the wedding when I was getting ready it all felt so surreal. We had spent a year planning our big day and I just couldn't believe the day was finally here. I was so nervous about the ceremony, but my husband held my hands when we were saying our vows and that really helped. It was such a amazing day from start to finish."
What was the easiest thing about planning your wedding?
"Probably getting my dress. It was the first one I tried on! I tried others after but I knew straight away that the first dress I tried on was the one I had to have."
…and the hardest?
"Table planning, choosing where everyone was going to sit and who was sitting with who."
Did your guests like your stationery?
"Yes, everyone commented on our stationery. It was very pretty!"
Did you get any particularly positive feedback for your theme and design?
"I had a lot of people message me after they had received their invites telling me how beautiful they were!"
Where are you planning to go on your honeymoon?
"We are planning to go to Iceland in November. We are going whale watching, to the blue lagoon, the golden circle and hopefully we will see the northern lights!"
Would you recommend LMSB to friends and family?
"Absolutely. Every time."

We hope Sabrina and Andy have a fabulous honeymoon and get to see the northern lights! Whale watching sounds amazing too! Such a wonderful honeymoon, and a gorgeous wedding by the looks and sounds of it. We are overjoyed with the positive feedback LMSB received for Sabrina and Andy’s stationery. It’s great that the guests took time to message Sabrina to tell her they thought the invites were beautiful. It’s really important when you receive an invite, whether you intend to attend the wedding or not, to RSVP in a timely manner, as any delays in responding can cause further delays down the line, for the couple's stationer, venue, caterers... the list goes on. Our blog post next week will focus on Wedding etiquette – giving you the low down on when, where, and how is best to send and receive wedding stationery to assist you if you are planning your big day, or have been invited as a guest to someone else’s big day!
Keep an eye out for that NEXT WEEK, and before the end of this week we will also have more information to share regarding our super exciting news! As you may have seen from our Facebook page, LMSB is moving to Skipton. We’ll have more on that later, for now we hope you enjoyed reading about Sabrina’s gorgeous wedding.
Much love,
