As promised here is our April edition Featured Bride Wedding of the Month! We recently spoke to Lorna to get the details of her wedding to Lee on the 23rd July 2016, at St Michael's Church, Foulridge, and The Coniston Hotel (one of our favourite venues!)

How did you meet?
"In the Black Horse pub, in Skipton, although we do have lots of mutual friends!"
How did he propose? Or did you take the plunge?
"Lee proposed in a very romantic setting in a private garden in Venice. It was just perfect... apart from the rain!"
Tell us about planning your wedding… What were you most excited about?
"All of our fabulous friends and family being together for a whole day!"
Did you trust your other half with any of the planning?
"Hmmm... the suits (with supervision of course!) Every suit fitting did seem to co-ordinate with a 'few beers' after though!" (Well it is thirsty work! – LMSB)
What was your theme?
"Very simple, classic with a few rustic touches. As we had a lot of guests, I didn't want the room to look too busy."
How did Zoe incorporate this theme in to your stationery?
"We went for a simple brown card design with rustic rope ties, and a few pearls. Everything was finished with a small baby blue love heart, the same colour as my bridesmaid’s dresses. They were perfect!"
What was your experience with Zoe like, as a designer?
"Fantastic from start to finish, nothing was too much trouble and she listened to everything we wanted - whilst adding her professional recommendations too, of course."
How did you feel when you saw the finished designs?
"I loved them! (I think I cried a bit...)"
How many bridesmaids and pageboys did you have?
"I had five bridesmaids, and two flower girls."
What was the easiest thing about planning your wedding?
"People will probably never say this... but my table plan! Everyone just seemed to slot in nicely. Maybe they are scared of me?!"
…and the hardest?
"Finding my very glamorous mum an outfit!"
Did your guests like your stationery?
"They loved it."
Did you get any particularly positive feedback for your theme and design?
"A lot of people said they were very 'us' which I think is the most positive thing anyone can say, and highlights that Zoe hit the nail on the head with them."
Where are you planning to go on your honeymoon?
"We went to Dubai and the Maldives. It was simply AMAZING!"
Would you recommend LMSB to friends and family?
"Without a shadow of a doubt. Thanks, Zoe."
